Music Appreciation - Quiz Resubmit Policy

So, you took a quiz in my class, and you didn't do so well?

The point of this class is to educate you about certain aspects of the history of music, and train you in the methods used to analyze and understand the impact of different musics on current-day American musical culture.

With that in mind, I am not here to hand out less-than-optimal grades. I expect you all to learn the material that we cover. Here's the deal:

When your corrected quiz is returned to you, you may resubmit it the following week (and only the following week) under the following conditions:

• Provide a correct answer to each incorrect problem, along with an explanation for WHY it is the correct answer (you can justify it using material from my notes or from the textbook).

• Write your corrections on a separate sheet of paper, and staple it to your original quiz.

As long as I can see that you can do the research necessary to answer the questions correctly, I will give you full credit for each correct answer.
